Haakon Knutson has been a key member of The MG Group since 2011, playing a pivotal role in the firm’s expansion and its rise to the forefront of the Chicago real estate market. A Chicago native, Haakon brings extensive expertise in real estate sales, leasing, marketing and management.

The son of a residential architect, Haakon developed an early appreciation for the tangible and personal aspects of real estate – an understanding that has shaped his professional career.

He earned his undergraduate degree from DePaul University in Indiana before obtaining his law degree from Loyola University School of Law.

After law school, Haakon founded a full-service real estate management company specializing in both residential and commercial properties. As a licensed Illinois attorney, he offers a broad depth of industry knowledge and experience. In his role as The MG Group’s Director of Sales, he works alongside our sales associates to ensure a seamless and exceptional buying and selling experience for both the group’s clients and his own.
